Tennessee Titans and New York Giants
A Prop Play Prediction
I used the Giants in Week One, took the points against the Cowboys, and got a W.
I used the Giants again in Week Two, laying the points with the Rams, and I got another W.
I’d like to use the Giants again this week and take the points with the Titans, but unfortunately the line has dropped from NY -5′ to NY -2′. And one of my rules for sports betting is if the line moves three points against me, don’t buy it. I’m tempted to break that rule but being that the line is now under a field goal, and Tennessee is 0-2, I’ll look elsewhere to lay my money this week.
But I’m sticking with the Giants game.
Why?
Cuz Jaxon Dart is out with an injury.
Coaches have a saying they like to toss out in these situations. When asked about a missing star they reply, “It’s all part of the game, NEXT MAN UP.”
The problem for the Giants this week is that their next man up is Jameis Winston, AKA Mr. INT.
Winston came in for an injured Dart last week and to no one’s surprise threw an interception.
Last year, Winston started only two games.
And . . . he threw an interception in each of them.
In 2024 Winston started 7 games for the Cleveland Browns. He threw an INT in five of them. In four of those five games he threw multiple interceptions.
In 2023 he wasn’t used as a starter due to injuries (and the fact that he’s terrible.)
The last season when he had multiple starts was 2022. He started three games for the Saints. He threw an INT in two of the three (multiple INT’s in fact, 2 in one game and 3 in the other.)
You see where I’m going with this?
Yes, with Dart out the Giants will rely on their running game (and also because they know Winston sucks.) And yes, it will be raining, which will add to their leaning on the run.
But eventually, Winston is going to have to throw a pass. And if the Giants are behind on the scoreboard in the second half, as I expect they might be, they’ll have to abandon the run game and rely on Winston.
And we all know what that means.
I checked five different betting shops for prices on Winston to throw an INT. Pricing ranges from as low as -158 to as high as -185.
I don’t usually lay higher than the standard odds but with two units in my pocket I’m laying the -158.

Review: It didn’t matter whether Dart got hurt or not, the Giants were in a bad spot, facing an angry Rams team at home in LA, fresh off of being embarrassed in the Australian game.
