Aliyah Boston Indiana Fever

Indiana at Golden State

WNBA Prediction on the Total

Tonight the Golden State Valkyries are in the “Gm2 of the B2B’s” spot.
I’m on vacation, so I don’t have all my charts and log books with me (excuse me, I like to travel light), so my numbers may be off by one or two, but I’m pretty sure the Over in Back to Back’s right now is sitting at 16-10, making it a 61% play.
And, as you know, for me, anything that’s winning at 58% or higher . . .

I’d like to know what the Valkyries record is in Gm2 of B2B’s, but I don’t have all my charts with me (okay, next time I’ll pack them.)

The standard stats for Valkyrie games going Over is a losing proposition; 60% of their games stay Under.
But they’ve gone Over two in a row now, and three of their last four.

The book’s number on tonight’s game is 158′.
Golden State has only gone Over that number in four of their last 10 games, which makes someone looking to play the Over in this one say, “Ugh.”
Ugh.
But there’s better news on the Indiana side of the equation. The Fever are just 20-19 to the Over on the season, but using the number on tonight’s game, they’ve gone Over in 8 of their last 10 games, for an 80% hit rate in recent play.

I don’t have my charts with me so I don’t know how many of these B2B Over spots we have left this season (OKAY, OKAY, I said I’ll pack better next time!) but it was profitable last year, it’s profitable this year, so I’m going to stick with it again today.

I took a minute to review the Valkyrie’s schedule, and they were in the B2B once this season.
They won 73-66, scoring just 139 points.
But that was on the road; they’re at home in Valhalla tonight.
And that last game was against Chicago, the lowest scoring team in the league, averaging just 77 PPG. Tonight they’re facing the Indiana Fever, the third-best scoring team in the league, averaging 85 PPG.

The Golden State Valkyries live and die by the three-point shot.
Tonight I live or die with them.

Recap: 0-1
Record: 28-31
Review: Lost with the Con/NY game Over 166′.
Fell six points short thanks to the Liberty, (who average 21.2 PPG per quarter), putting up a 10-point Q2.

I’m three games under .500 in my articles, five games over in the Forum.
Still in position to finish the WNBA season with a profit if I can close strong over these last five or six games heading into the playoffs.
And if not, no worries – I’ll always have the NP Under play in college football.
