This weekend the Florida A&M Rattlers will try and do
what the likes of Buffalo, San Diego State and Cal couldnt do, beat the
4th-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes, when they travel to the
Horseshoe in an early morning game this Saturday in Columbus.

Didnt catch the sarcasm? Well, if your reading this right now you are either a serious Buckeyes fan or a complete degenerate, so we can all just agree that Saturdays game between the Buckeyes and Rattlers isnt worth too much handicapping analysis.

If the unheard of point spread of Ohio State minus -50 points isnt enough to make you look at the rest of Saturdays card for value, then Im not sure youre using your bankroll efficiently. Nonetheless, the Buckeyes do stand a chance to get starting quarterback Braxton Miller back this week, just in time for the start of the Big Ten season.

Heres what anybody can find out about Florida A&M with a little time they are 1-2 this season with back-to-back losses to Tennessee State (27-7) and Samford (27-20) the past two weeks. Quarterback Damien Fleming is not much of a threat (48%, 127.7 ypg) and may be colorblind (2 TD, 5 INT), which is sad because WR Lenworth Lennon is probably their best weapon.

Does anybody really give them a chance to stop the Buckeyes ala Appalachian State to Michigan, heck no. But can they stop them at all, or will Urban Meyer call off the dogs before they cover 50 points ? Now you have a complete guessing game this weekend.

One could argue that with the Big Ten opener against Wisconsin on the schedule next week, Meyer and the Buckeyes would show no mercy and run it up using this fact as a convenient excuse. Ohio State scored 52 on Cal last week, and 47 on San Diego State, so they should be able to clear out the student section and the band and still put points on the board like a slot machine.

Guessing when Meyer calls off the dogs is the only backdoor I can see out of this game, and if the Rattlers get a token off the Buckeyes third-string to drop it under fifty points youll be able to tell who took the Buckeyes in the room.

Badger’s Pick to Cover the Point Spread: OSU 66-7.
