SMUs Head Coach June Jones hired Hal Mumme for this years schedule which virtually means nothing in this game. Texas Tech counters with hiring Kliff Kingsbury as Head Coach which means EVERYTHING in this matchup! Kingsbury was Texas A&Ms Offensive Coordinator last year in charge of one of the most prolific offenses in the country. Kingsbury was also a spectacular quarterback for the Red Raiders before anyone knew where the crap Lubbock, Texas actually is (aside from Truck Drivers and Trace Adkins!). Kingsbury is a fantastic young coach and June Joneswell, is SMUs coach. Mumme was hired by Jones for unknown reasons, and this 2013 campaign for SMU looks more like High School Musical #36 than Ingmar Bergmans The Seventh Seal. SMU is going to get beat A LOT this year; both in Dallas and on the field. SMU was tough on defense in 2012 though; 15th against the run. Unfortunately, SMU lost everyone in their 3-4 scheme along with their only All-American and will get torched up the middle, at the boundaries, before the game, during finals, and almost everywhere in-between giving Kingsbury Carte Blanche to post big numbers in this game. Lets take a look at how many points Texas Tech will staple to this chicken crossing the road.

One thing is certain and fantastically final: No more Craig James to deal with! James played for the Mustangs during the Open Credit Card Era and forgot that those days were over when he moved to ESPN. James disgraced himself, his family, and men in general by being a Punk Parent effectively getting Texas Tech Head Coach Mike Leach fired over James goofy son (he played for Leachor rather, whined for Leach). Thank the Lord that James actually thought he was popular in Texas! James ran for Senator, Congressmanwhatever, and got less than 1% of the vote! Now, thoroughly silenced, we wont have to listen to that imbecile speaking another word during the broadcast!!! Texas Tech is going to roll in this game and it WILL be a big-time beat-down! SMU is in deep trouble in Dallas and the only thing left for us to watch in this game is: Does Kliff Kingsbury have the killer instinct to torch SMU so brutally the school may give up football? The Vegas horses are only giving Tech 5 points here? Holy Lord!!! Tech by 35+! June Jones and Mumme get absolutely clobbered in this game!!!

Tims Pick to Cover the Point Spread: Texas Tech -5 and run to the Bank!!
