Trade Rumor: There’s lots of talk going on involving Carmelo Anthony being sent to New Jersey which may involve multiple teams. – 9/25

Rumors Swirling: Word out of Golden State is that Don Nelson is expected to resign soon. – 9/23

A.I. Watch: The latest rumor is that no NBA teams have contacted the former All Star and that he’s considering playing in CHINA. WTF? – 9/13

AI Done? ESPN has reported that Charlotte nor Orlando are interested in the services of G Allen Iverson. – 8/20

Four Team Trade: The Charlotte Hornets sent PG Darren Collison to the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers sent F Troy Murphy packing to the New Jersey Nets. The Nets sent G Courtney Lee to the Houston Rockets. The Rockets then sent Trevor Ariza to the Hornets.

T-Mac Watch: Rumors out of Detroit are that the Pistons are planning on signing G/F Tracy McGrady to a one-year deal. – 8/10

Shaq Watch: The Boston Celtics are expected to sign C Shaquille O’Neal to a one year deal. – 8/4

Former NBA Player Found Dead: Former NBA big-man Lorenzen Wright has been found dead in a wooded area in Memphis, Tennessee. Wright had been missing for the past 9 days. Wright was 34 years old and last played for the Cavs in 2009. R.I.P. – 7/28

Notes: Houston Rockets C Yao Ming has stated that if his foot doesn’t heal by the end of this year he’ll retire. Timberwolves PG Jonny Flynn will miss 3-4 months after having surgery on his hip. Rumors about T-Mac being headed to the Windy City have died. The team believes that he’s not willing to accept coming off the bench and being a secondary role player. – 7/27

Trade: The Minnesota T-Wolves have traded G Ramon Sessions and C Ryan Hollins for Guards Delonte West and Sebastian Telfair. – 7/27

T-Mac: Word out of Chicago is that G/F Tracy McGrady is going to sign with the Bulls. – 7/26

Lakers Sign Pair: The LA Lakers have signed F Matt Barnes and C Theo Ratliff. While these aren’t big names, it does indeed create some great strength to the chemistry in Tinsel Town as both of these guys are seasoned veterans who are happy with being role players. – 7/23

New Rumors: The latest rumor has Hornets G Chris Paul unhappy and wanting to be traded prior to the start of the season. Rumors are that he wants to play for either the Lakers, Knicks or Magic. – 7/21

Spurs to Keep Forward: Despite much speculation that Spurs F Richard Jefferson would leave the Alamo in search of a multi year deal offering more loot, he is likely to re-sign with the team any day now. – 7/20

Rockets Nab Free Agent: The Houston Rockets have signed C Brad Miller to a 3 year deal. The aging veteran still has a good game and provides GREAT insurance should Yao Ming go down. Speaking of Yao, there have been rumors that the Rockets star center wouldn’t be ready until January, however, the report has turned out to be false and Ming is expected to be ready for training camp and in the lineup on opening night. – 7/17

Harrington a Nugget: The Denver Nuggets have signed F Al Harrington to a 5 year deal. – 7/14

Jazz Acquire Big Al: The Utah Jazz have acquired C/F Al Jefferson in exchange for two future first-round picks and Kosta Koufos. With Jefferson, Millsap, and D. Williams in their lineup, the Jazz will be a force to reckon with for many years to come. – 7/13

Rumors: The word out of Toronto is that the Raptors are looking to send F Hedo Turkoglu to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for G Leandro Barbosa. It would be a nice fit for both players. – 7/12

Big Z: Free Agent C Zydrunas Ilguaskas is likely to sign with the Miami Heat. The Heat are doing a GREAT job of attracting veteran players who are more interested in championship rings than loot. – 7/11

Yikes: With all the talk about how much loot the Knicks had to spend, they sure haven’t gotten much out of this years free agent market. The team is expected to sign G Raymond Felton. It is our estimation that Felton is undersized and lacks the outside shooting to be an effective starting point guard in the NBA. Looks like another rough year for the Knicks. – 7/9

Important Piece of the Pie: The Miami Heat are close to signing G/F Mike Miller to a five year deal. This would be a HUGE acquisition because Miller is unselfish and is willing to give up the ball while offering a viable long rage threat. Props to the Heat for putting together a team that appears to have SUPERB chemistry. – 7/9

Not So Fast! The New Jersey Nets were supposedly hot-to-trot for high leaping F Tyrus Thomas but the Bobcats swooped in to kill their hopes today as Charlotte has signed him to a 5 year deal. With all the recent big-name free agent signins, it looks as if though the Nets are left holding an empty bag. – 7/9

Korver Headed to Windy City: Word out of Utah is that sharp shooter Kyle Korver is following Carlos Boozer to the Chicago Bulls – 7/9

Heat Say Goodbye to Beasley: The F was traded to the Minnesota T-Wolves today. – 7/9

Get the Eraser Out: The Cleveland Cavaliers have dropped from an 8-1 to 20-1 to win the 2011 NBA Championship now that Lebron has left the team. – 7/9

Celtics to Sign Center: Rumors out of Beantown are that C/F Jermaine O’Neal is going to sign with the team for 2 years. – 7/8

Outlaw Signs: The New Jersey Nets have signed free agent F Travis Outlaw to a 5 year deal. – 7/8

Bulls Nab Forward: The Chicago Bulls have agreed with F Carlos Boozer on a 5 year deal. – 7/8

Heat Nab 2 Stars: F Chris Bosh and G Dwayne Wade have agreed to sign with the Miami Heat. – 7/7

Amare Signs: The New York Knicks have signed free agent F Amare Stoudemire to a 5 year deal – 7/6

Signings: PG Steve Blake has agreed to a four year deal with the LA Lakers. The Phoenix Suns have signed F Hakim Warrick to a four year deal. – 7/2

More Rumors: The Rumor out of Phoenix is that Amare Stoudemire isn’t going to return to the Suns and that NY is aggressively courting him.
Rumors out of LA are that the Lakeshow have offered Mike Miller a
5 year deal. In other news, we’re hearing rumbels of the Knicks, Nets and Blazers are all desperately trying to
make a deal for PG Chris Paul. – 7/1

Three-Peat? Phil Jackson will return to coach the Lakers for the 2010-2011 season in an effort to win three in a row. – 7/1

Gay Staying Put: The Memphis Grizzlies are expected to announce a 5 year 82 million dollar deal with F Rudy Gay. – 7/1

Rumors Flying: Rumors out of Miami are that the Heat are aggressively trying to reel in free agent F Chris Bosh in a sign and trade deal with the Raptors. The rumor has a sign and trade deal involving Michael Beasley and Mario Chalmers as potential trade bait. – 6/30

He’s Baaack! It’s official, Doc Rivers will be back to coach the Boston Celtics for the 2010-2011 season. – 6/30

Cavs Name New Head Coach: Byron Scott will fill the vacant position. – 6/30

Trade: New Jersey traded forward Yi Jianlian and
cash to Washington for forward Quinton Ross. – 6/29

Free Agent Pool to Grow by 1 Star? Rumors out of Beantown are that Celtics All Star F Paul Pierce is going to exercise his option to forfeit his 2011 $21.5 million salary for a chance to sign a new four-year deal worth more than $90 million. – 6/29

Latest Lebron Rumors: The most recent talk around the NBA regarding King James is that both he and Chris Bosh are going to sign with the Chicago Bulls.

Sheed Done? Word out of Beantown is that Celtics F Rasheed Wallace has decided to retire. An official announcement is expected to be made soon. – 6/25

Rumors Flying: Apparently Hornets PG Chris Paul has let it be known that he is open to being traded if team management doesn’t make the proper moves to win championships. One rumor had the New Jersey Nets offering Devin Harris and the 3rd pick for Paul. Another had Jameer Nelson and Vince Carter of the Orlando Magic. Expect to hear more rumors flying this week and for Paul to ultimately end up staying in N.O. – 6/23

Trade: Milwaukee acquired forward Corey Maggette and a 2010 second-round draft pick from Golden State for guard Charlie Bell and center Dan Gadzuric. – 6/22

Rest in Peace: He was a big guy with a big heart. Manute Bol, dead at age 47. – 6/20

Note Done Yet: The agent for Allen Iverson has stated that AI plans on coming back to play for the 2010-2011 season. The question is will anybody want him. – 6/19

Lebron Rumors: The current rumor has him leaning towards signing with the New York Knicks as of 6/19

Trade Announcement: The Sacramento Kings have traded Andres Nocioni and Spencer Hawes to the Philadelphia 76ers for Samuel Dalembert. This is a great move for both teams. – 6/17

NBA Draft: The Philadelphia 76ers have unofficially made it known that they’ll be taking Evan Turner with the 2nd pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.

NBA Championship: The LA Lakers beat the Boston Celtics 83-79 Thursday night to win the 2010 NBA Championship.
