Bonus Poker
by Marilee of Predictem.com

Bonus Poker is a variation on Jacks or Better Poker. This more advanced game adds bonuses for special four-of-a-kind hands. In all the bonus poker varieties, the aces provide the biggest bonus. Four of a kind hands for 2s, 3s, and 4s are also bonus hands. It is important to note that in bonus poker, the two pair hands still get the 2:1 return (like Jacks or Better and unlike the other Bonus varieties). This is the biggest reason many people choose this game over games with higher paying bonuses. The two to one on two pair will keep you playing a lot longer. It doesn’t seem like much, but over time and lots of play, you will see the benefits. The basic lowest paytables you should choose for this game are as follows:

BONUS POKER CAN BE FOUND AT ANY OF OUR RECOMMENDED ONLINE
CASINOS

Jacks or Better 1:1

2 Pair 2:1

Three-of-a-kind 3:1

Straight 4:1

Flush 5:1

Full House 8:1

Four 5s through Kings 25:1

Four 2s, 3s, or 4s 40:1

Four Aces 80:1

Straight Flush 50:1

Royal Flush 250:1

Please note that a royal flush is paid at 800:1 for a max coin bet. You do not get that bonus unless you are playing max coins. Take special note of any machines that take double bets (usually a poker machine takes 5 coins for a max bet but some machines take 10 or more coins for a max bet). If you are at machine with 10 or more coins for max bet, be careful because the royal flush return on a five coin bet may still be set at 250:1. Rule of thumb here is to ALWAYS play the max coin bet on your machine. If the price is too high on a double bet machine, then find one with the 5 coin limit.
