Golden State Valkyries at Indiana Fever
Friday Night Pick and Analysis
What do you like better, Monday mornings or Friday nights?
When do you feel more energy, Monday mornings or Friday nights?
I don’t track play on every day of the week but I do look at Sunday mornings because it’s an unusual time for WNBA teams to be playing.
And I look at Friday nights because I think teams feed off the energy from the crowd, and a Friday night crowd is better than a Tuesday night crowd.
Or maybe there’s nothing to it, maybe every day is the same.
Whatever your feeling is on the validity of ‘capping days of the week, there’s no denying this – the WNBA has played seven Friday night games thus far this season.
The Over is 6-1.

Overall, Golden St is 2-2 Ov/Un, 1-1 on the Rd.
Indiana is 2-3, 2-2 at Hm.
Both teams come into this one healthy, no starters missing.
Caitlin Clark sat out the Fever’s last game with a minor back sprain.
She’s playing tonight.
The game opened at 167′ and is up to 168′.
I’m grabbing it now because it’s going to go higher.
My play:
GS/Ind Ov 168′
Recap: 0-1
Record: 3-4
Review: I lost when Phoenix lost SU to LA last night.
The Mercury scored 10 points fewer than their season average PPG, and more than 10 points fewer than LA gives up per game.
It was just a bad night for the offense.
