Baylor is averaging 69+ points per game but who have they beaten? UL-Monroe was shut out by Oklahoma in week number one 34-0. Baylor has stapled 70 or more points on 4 opponents and 69 on another. In 2011, Baylor posted two 50+ point games and two 60+ point games and were 10-3. In 2012, Baylor posted four 50+ point games and a 60+ point game and finished 8-5. Head Coach Art Briles LOVES to hammer teams with big numbers and so far, Art Briles is 40-30 as Head Coach at Baylor. Briles did the same thing when he was Head Coach at Houston (before coming to Baylor) and his record at Houston was 34-28! It should be an interesting game to say the least. Baylor will be playing only the 2nd Team bringing with them a winning record to the table at the opening kickoff (the other was UL-Monroe at 2-1). Lets take a look at what makes these teams tick.
Baylor has the number 1 ranked offense in the country. Baylor also has the number 11 ranked defense in the country, 1 spot below number 10 Oklahoma. Oklahoma is 50th in total offense and 17th in rushing offense (Baylor is 7th). But the Big Bama Jamma stat isOklahoma stands 9th in the country in passing yards allowed!! So the game plan for the Sooners will be: Defend the pass making Baylor run the ball andrun the clock. Who runs the ball at Baylor? Lets find out.

Seastrunk is Reggie Bush all over again with one exception; Seastrunk is going to be asked to come clean before he is a 2-year NFL Vet. Baylor loses the moral high-ground necessary to run the table in the 2013 season. Will it happen this week? I dont think Baylor will lose, but I do believe Oklahoma has the same type of athletes on the field to compete with Baylor. The coaches? Baylor Head Coach Art Briles is a John Jenkins prototype and might be getting a little too big for his britches. Oklahoma Head Coach Bob Stoops has won National Championships and has been on the hot-seat from Sooner supporters for not competing for National Titles every year. Stoops is a good guy and a hard worker. Briles runs the score up and flirts with self-serving arrogance—like Seastrunk—giving Baylor 2 strikes against themselves before any kickoff.

Baylor is not going to blow Oklahoma out. The absolute WORST possible scenario for Baylor and any thoughts of covering in this game was erased in the Red River Rivalry October 12th. Oklahoma needs a big win and losing to Texas means Baylor better watch out! Oklahoma matches athletes and schemes very nicely with Baylor and I see 2 TDs and a Hook a pretty easy cover for Oklahoma.
