You should have started jumping on USC prior to this BC matchup! USCalthough incredibly talentedare severely overpriced coming off their win against Stanford. SC stomped a depleted Fresno State team in week one 52-13 and ran freakin 105 plays against the Bulldogs providing most sports speculators an all-to-common false sense of value! Fresno will struggle against EVERYBODY this year. Against Stanford, SC did not dominate, did not execute, and was handled by Stanford throughout the contest outgained 413 yards to 291. Stanford should have won the game going awayperhaps 2 or 3 touchdownsas Stanford moved the ball at will venturing into the Red Zone 6 times and returning only 6 very conservative points! Stanford starters did everything but change uniforms with the SC scrubs assuring a Trojan victory. Sarkisian team is a turnip in a teapot; visually pedestrian, effectively uneventful. If the Stanford game were in Italian Series A, La Liga, or the Russian Premier League many would suggest each point tossed away by Stanford was kin to a close shave! But shaving a point or two is for Capitalists (and criminals) and NO ONE would ever confuse a Stanford student with Capitalistic tendencies; at least no one this side of Chairman Moa!

Boston College in 2014 is sort of like repairing a favorite car that got T-boned in front of a Jack-In-The-Box. Should I take the insurance money and get a new ride or rebuild the wreck in my image? Gone is the engine—Andre Williams and his 2,177 rushing yards. Two Bumpers are missing—-Left and Right Offensive Tackles (Whatshisname and Theotherguy). The steering wheel is trashed—Starting QB Chase Rettig. All four tires are flat—-1,000 yard receiver Alex Amidon. The defense has been corkscrewed and spilled all over the 2014 Graduation Field. One thing is certain about this former proud and competitive BC machinethey play hard for current coach Steve Addazio. In 2013, BC was projected to lose more than they won; BC went to a Bowl Game. But lets be realistic about the 2014 BC Eagles. The Eagles beat up UMASS in the season opener 30-7. UMASS is passively horrible. Last week, a candy striped PITT team visited the Chowdas and pretty much pushed the Eagles up and down the field beating BC 30-20. The Eagles arent world beaters! The Eagles are much more Fresno State than they are Stanford. But the Eagles will play hardall the time, and that should provide everyone with a moment of pause.

Sarkisian is not the answer at SC. Overall, Sarkisian is 36-29 as a FBS Head Coach. Lets get past the Sarkisian euphoriaall that glitters is not gold. SC is 7-2 ATS in their last nine games. USC is 8-1 SU in their last 9. SC is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 on the road, but SC is only 4-10 ATS on the road in their last 14 games. Boston College is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 at home. BC is 5-2 SU in their last 7 at home. The total has gone OVER in 6 of the last 8 BC games overall. The total has gone OVER in BCs last 4 out of 5 home games. In contrast, the total has gone UNDER in 7 of USCs last 10 games overall. Thats the facts Jack!

Sarkisian is a hot cheerleader with zero personality. Dont get too excited with the second coming of Brady Hoke (Michigan coach who looked good on paper!), Charlie Weiss, Bob Davie (and on, and on, and on). USC should have received a thumping at Palo Alto last week but walked away with fools gold! BC makes no presumptions of who they are. BC knows they must show up and play each and every week to compete at the FBS level. I say, Snag the points, push the UNDER, and enjoy a great 2-fer this Saturday Evening! USC thinks they are marching towards The Final Four. I believe USC is two snaps away from being upset in Boston Mass! Hold the points, pocket the UNDERCIAO BELLA!!!

Tims Pick to Cover the Point Spread: Boston College +18 and the UNDER
