Thursday’s MLB card offers an eight-game slate, which includes four day games, the first being the Seattle Mariners vs. Detroit Tigers. Logan Gilbert has pitched pretty well this season, with exception of his struggles vs. the Yankees. Eduardo Rodriguez has been lights out since returning, allowing only one earned run in eleven innings. Runs could be at a premium Monday afternoon at Comerica Park!

The Arizona Diamondbacks opened a can on the Phillies and Aaron Nola last night. Look for more of the same tonight with a young and shaky Bailey Falter on the road against Tommy Henry, who has been pitching lights out, allowing one earned run or less in three of his last four starts. What the heck happened to Kris Bubic? He appears to have run out of gas! The young left-hander was cruising not so long ago and has hit the proverbial wall as of late, getting hammered in three straight games while allowing fourteen earned runs over 13.1 innings! Conversely, Lance Lynn has only allowed two earned runs or less in four out of his last five games. The ChiSox have fat juice at -185, but this may be the body bag play of the day!
