What a spectacular opening to the 2013 Season! Texas A&M will try and slip off their Diva costumes and slap around Rice at Kyle Field in front of agricultural (the A in A&M) and mechanical (the M in A&M) students. These 2 teams absolutely know each other; theyve played 80 times-then the SWC was disbanded (1996). It seems everyone is wondering about Johnny Goofball aka Johnny Manziel. Manziel accounted for 5,116 yards of offense and 47 TDs on his way to winning the Heisman Trophy in 2012. Rice comes inas usual, without a defense. Sure, Johnny Goofball is an awesome spectacle. But that same panache Johnny Goofball holds at every moment on the field, combined with a do nothing father AFRAID (??????!) of his own son, is showing just how quickly a Diva can go to Destruction right before our very eyes. Now, with all that being said, if Manziel straps it on for the game with Rice, well also see why a Diva is a Diva in the first place; incredible talent!

Rice cant stop anybody from scoring; except Air Force in the Military Air, Land, and Sea Bowl Game sponsored by TWIX (or whatever they call that bowl?). Texas A&M is not really all that vulnerable if Manziel doesnt play. Texas A&M lost Offensive Coordinator Kliff Kingsbury to Texas Tech after the 2012 season to be Techs head coach. That is a HUGE problem for A&Ms 2013 season! Jake Spavital takes over as QB coach and Co-offensive coordinator with current Running Backs coach Clarence McKinney. Spavital and McKinney have a combined 1 (one) game experience as offensive coordinator, co-offensive coordinator, or any other type of offensive coordinator. Having 2 offensive coordinators will prove to be a disaster this year in College Station. McKinney is Head Coach Kevin Sumlins friend and confidante from the Houston Cougar days and Spavital is from Gundys days at Oklahoma State. Combine this very unusual offensive co-coordinator play calling with the loss of left tackle Luke Joeckel to the NFL and center Patrick Lewis, the Aggies will struggle against the better teams. Kingsburys move to Texas Tech will cost the Aggies at least 4 wins and the mountain of complaints ready to erupt concerning the play calling will make Mt. St Helen look like a baking soda with vinegar Jr. High science fair project!
The Owls never have and/or never will stop anyone from scoring. Theyre ACT and SAT scores are pretty good, though?! Theres very little chance that Rice can stay on the field with A&M at A&M, but the loss of Kingsbury and the 27 point spread is just too much to wager on.
