For the Honda Classic, the PGA National Champion Course will play 7,158 yards at par 70. Accurate drives and approaches are required to earn birdie puts on a course that has a history of over par stroke averages.

Here is our list of picks to win The Honda Classic; one short, one middle and one longshot odds guy. Check out the golf sportsbooks for these bets and others, including head to head matches for individual days or the entire event.

Short: Camilo Villegas at 12 to 1

Camilo is coming off a nice Accenture Match Play event, winning his matches quite easily before falling to the eventual champ, Geoff Ogilvy. Villegas has made three of four cuts on the year and has averaged an 8th place finish in those three made cuts. Camilo is currently 2nd on Tour in greens in regulation at just over 76%, a stat that will have him in good shape through the week.

Middle: Boo Weekley at 28 to 1

Weekley is off to a nice start to 09 with 15th, 9th, and 17th place finishes in his three events. Currently first in ballstriking, Boo is also first in greens hit and is 4th in total driving. The par-5s at PGA National provide some of the best birdie opportunities and Weekley is 2nd on Tour in par-5 birdie conversions.

Longshot: Brian Gay at 40 to 1

In six starts, Brian has finished in the top-20 in five, missing just one cut. His best efforts include a 5th at the Sony and a 6th at the FBR, going an aggregate 54-under par on the year. You have to hit fairways at the Honda and Gay is 3rd in driving accuracy along with 11th in greens hit.

Good Luck this week!
