The winner of this match will probably qualify for the knockout phase of the Champions League, but AC Milan is at home and is on fire as of late anmd Real is struggling. In the last Champions League match AC Milan shocked Real in Madrid and that match may have saved their season. Things did not look good since they were struggling in Italian Serie A and they lost to a much weaker FC Zurich team at home in the Champions League. AC Milan is on a 6 match unbeaten streak and they have seemed to find their offense.

Real has struggled as of late, as in their last 5 matches they have won only twice, lost twice, and played to a draw. They were even beat by Spanish 3rd division Alcorcon in the Copa del Rey, which was a huge embarrassment. Their offense has not looked the same since Cristiano Ronaldo went out with an injury and Kaka has not provided their attack any spark. Manager Manuel Pellegrini is on the hot season and if Real losses this match he may lose his job. Real spent over 200 million Euros on the off-season and after a hot start in La Liga and in Champions League play they have cooled off big time.

San Siro will be rocking on Tuesday night in an important match for both clubs. Both of these teams have 6 points in Group C and even though both teams should make it out a win by either will ensure that it happens.

Both teams are evenly posted for this match, as AC Milan and Real Madrid are both at 2.60 with a draw at 3.25.

Alessandro Nesta, who has arguably been the best player for Milan this season, will play in this big match after being held out of Sunday’s match as a precaution. Storari, Marek Jankulovski and Oguchi Onyewu are all injured and will not play in this match. Luca Antonini was injured in Sunday’s match and he may not play.

After their shocking loss to Alcorcon both Guti and Christoph Metzelder were left of the squad for this match. Big gun Cristiano Ronaldo as well as Ezequiel Garay are out for this match due to injuries.

Ronaldinho is playing great in AC Milan’s recent solid and is looking like the player he was a few years ago when he was one of the best in the world. He has played great in the midfield and he and Pato give Milan a solid 1-2 scoring punch.

Milan scored 3 goals in their last Champions League match against Real and it should have been 4 except for a bogus foul call. Real has to shore up their defense and not allow Milan to go on long runs like they did in their first match.

Kaka will be returning to the San Sire for the first time since coming to Madrid and he will be under a lot of pressure. He has to help Real control the midfield in this match.

With Cristiano Ronaldo still out Karim Benzema has to be the main offensive weapon for Real and since he signed a huge contract in the off-season he has had problems scoring.

If Clarence Seedorf and Andrea Pirlo are solid in the midfield it gives the home squad a great chance to win this match.

Milan goalie Dida had a solid match in these team’s last match up, but he did make a huge mistake in the beginning that match Real a goal. He will be peppered in this match, as Real will come out firing and he has to play a good match.

Jason’s Pick: AC Milan is on a roll and Real is not. It is simple as that. AC Milan is playing with a ton of confidence and them beating Real in Madrid was huge. They will continue their good play, as they will win this match in a battle, as I see them winning by a score of 2-1.
