If you bet a favorite and lay goals (-), you subtract that many points from your team’s score to determine a winner.

You can also bet on totals in soccer matches. The bookie will make a number such as 2.5 and you select if both teams combined score will fall over or under the posted total. The game must go the full distance for these wagers to have action. When it comes to totals props and you’re selecting odd/even, a scoreless game at 0-0 will be graded as “even”.
