Orlando Magic at Golden State Warriors
Saturday, November 7, 2026
8:30 PM ET, Chase Center
Golden State -6.5, total 221.5. My play is Warriors -6.5.
Orlando is rolling into San Francisco with a roster that looks like an urgent-care waiting room. Paolo Banchero (ankle), Jalen Suggs (knee) and Jonathan Isaac are all out, and the Magic have dropped three straight while scraping together 105.5 points a night. Across the floor sits a Warriors team that has won six in a row and is 4-0 on this homestand after torching Miami 120-100 on Thursday.
Chase Center is a bad place for a MASH unit
Franz Wagner is doing everything he can — 19.6 points and a career-best 8.5 assists, third in the league — but one All-Star forward cannot paper over a -9.7 adjusted net rating. Orlando turns it over 18.3 times a game and shoots 34% from three. Golden State, even without Jimmy Butler (recovering from ACL surgery) and Moses Moody, is still a plus-9.4 net outfit with Stephen Curry cooking at 29.9 a night and a defense that just held the Heat to 100.
The Warriors are 4-1 at Chase Center. They have spent this homestand erasing double-digit deficits and burying teams in the third quarter. Curry just climbed past Oscar Robertson on the all-time scoring list. That is not the energy you want to meet when your best player is in a walking boot and your starting point guard is unavailable.

Draymond’s elbow is the only real wrinkle.
Green is questionable with right-elbow inflammation after dishing a season-high 11 assists against Miami. If he sits, Golden State loses its primary connective tissue and may start Georges Niang in his place. Kristaps Porzingis is also out (illness, not with the team), and Gary Payton II plus Gui Santos are questionable. That is a real ding to the margin.
Even so, the talent and form gaps swallow those absences. ESPN’s matchup model still gives Golden State a 62% win chance, and the market has the Warriors around -258 on the moneyline. Orlando’s last five include beatdowns at Toronto and Phoenix; they simply do not have the juice to keep this inside a possession or two for 48 minutes.
Why I could be wrong
If Draymond is a late scratch and Curry goes cold from deep, a half-court slog could keep Orlando within the number. Wagner can go nuclear in isolation, and a 221.5 total leaves room for a grind-it-out cover. The pick also softens if the spread balloons past -8.
Projected score: Warriors 118, Magic 106.
The Pick: Warriors -6.5
