NFL Week 9 Sunday Player Props: Early Slate, Late Window and Sunday Night
Sunday, November 8, 2026
1:00 PM ET to 8:20 PM ET, (Sunday Night Football on NBC)
Eight player props for Sunday, from the 1 PM window to Buccaneers at Bears under the lights. My plays are Jared Goff Over 260.5 passing yards, Jonathan Taylor Over 63.5 rushing yards, Kenneth Walker III Over 92.5 rushing yards, Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 92.5 receiving yards, Brock Bowers Over 74.5 receiving yards, Matthew Golden Over 69.5 receiving yards, Caleb Williams Over 244.5 passing yards and Colston Loveland Over 5.5 receptions.
Props are where the weekly injury report does its real damage, so this card is built around volume that’s already locked in and defenses that keep handing it out. Lines were checked at 7:32 AM CT Sunday. Prices weren’t confirmed at that time, so each pick lists the number I’d still play. Treat anything juiced past -125 as a pass. Injury news below was checked at the same time. Final inactives come out about 90 minutes before each kickoff and weren’t available yet, so give each one a last look before you bet. The Bengals and Falcons in Madrid kick off at 9:30 AM ET, before this card goes out, so they’re not on it.
Early Slate (1:00 PM ET)
Jared Goff Over 260.5 passing yards (Lions at Dolphins). Goff has cleared this number in five of his seven starts, including 327, 412 and 303 yards. Miami gives up 221 passing yards a game, right in the middle of the league, and the Dolphins are already down cornerback Darrell Baker Jr. The big question was Amon-Ra St. Brown, who is listed questionable with a rib injury after being limited all week. Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero both reported Sunday morning that he’s expected to play. Detroit is a 6.5-point road favorite, so the risk is a lead that turns the second half into a Jahmyr Gibbs show. The forecast calls for 86 degrees in Miami Gardens, which won’t help anyone’s legs late. Playable to 264.5.
Jonathan Taylor Over 63.5 rushing yards (Cowboys at Colts). Dallas has the worst run defense in football, allowing 152.8 rushing yards a game. Taylor has topped 63.5 in six of eight games, usually on 18 to 24 carries. Last week’s 8-carry dud looks scary in a box score, but the Colts trailed the Jaguars 28-0 at halftime and lost 42-7, so they had no reason to run. Draft Sharks said the quiet week didn’t signal a change in his role. The risk is the same script again: Indianapolis is a 5.5-point home dog, and his name keeps coming up in trade rumors. Playable to 67.5.
Kenneth Walker III Over 92.5 rushing yards (Jets at Chiefs). Kansas City is a 9.5-point favorite, which usually means a long second half of handing the ball to the running back. The Jets allow 123.6 rushing yards a game, 21st in the league. Walker has already gone for 173, 177 and 128 this season. Here’s the case against: he’s coming off 36 and 69 yards in his last two games, so the price needs to stay reasonable. Playable to 94.5.

Afternoon Slate (4:25 PM ET)
Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 92.5 receiving yards (Cardinals at Seahawks). This line opened at 100.5 and dropped once Sam Darnold was ruled out with a quad injury. I’ll gladly take the discount. JSN has gone over 92.5 in seven of eight games. The last time Drew Lock started, also against Arizona, Smith-Njigba caught nine passes for 155 yards and three touchdowns, per CBS Sports. Rashid Shaheed is out, so there are even fewer places for the ball to go. The risks: Lock was limited all week with a right elbow problem, and the forecast calls for showers at Lumen Field. Playable to 96.5.
Brock Bowers Over 74.5 receiving yards (Raiders at 49ers). Bowers has seen at least eight targets in all six of his games and has topped 85 yards four times. Las Vegas is a 9.5-point underdog, so Kirk Cousins should be throwing well into the fourth quarter, and Bowers is his first read. San Francisco’s pass defense is decent, allowing 210.3 yards a game, and the 49ers know where the ball is going. That’s the reason I could be wrong. Playable to 79.5.
Matthew Golden Over 69.5 receiving yards (Packers at Patriots). Golden has drawn 12 or 13 targets in five of eight games, including 13 in his most recent game. He’s topped this number five times. New England allows 217.3 passing yards a game. Jordan Love’s yardage line sits at 274.5, so the market expects Green Bay to throw. Volume like that holds up even on a bad day. His dud against Detroit (39 yards on 12 targets) is the warning. Playable to 72.5.
Sunday Night (8:20 PM ET, NBC)
Caleb Williams Over 244.5 passing yards (Buccaneers at Bears). Tampa Bay has the league’s best run defense, allowing just 80 rushing yards a game, so Chicago’s path runs through the air. Williams has thrown for 269, 305, 308 and 247 yards in four of his five games. Baker Mayfield practiced fully all week and has no game designation for his right thumb, so the Bucs should be able to push back. That keeps Chicago throwing. As a 6-point favorite, Chicago could also sit on a lead, which is the main risk. Playable to 249.5.
Colston Loveland Over 5.5 receptions (Buccaneers at Bears). The second-year tight end has become a volume guy: six, seven and seven catches in his last three games, on 7 to 12 targets. This line opened at 4.5 and the market has already moved up. I’ll still take it, because the same run-defense logic pushes underneath targets his way. Running back Kyle Monangai is questionable with thumb and toe injuries. If he’s out, some short targets could go to D’Andre Swift, so check the inactive list before you bet. Playable at 5.5 only. Pass at 6.5.
What could sink the card
Most of these are bets on game script, and game script can turn fast. Lock’s elbow, St. Brown’s ribs and the Seattle rain are the three variables I’m least comfortable with. Inactives will settle more of this than any stat line. If a player I picked is downgraded or a key teammate sits, skip that play rather than chase it.
Projected lines: Goff 284 yards, Taylor 81, Walker 101, Smith-Njigba 112, Bowers 86, Golden 78, Williams 263 and Loveland 7 catches.
The Pick: Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 92.5 receiving yards (best bet), plus Goff Over 260.5, Taylor Over 63.5, Walker Over 92.5, Bowers Over 74.5, Golden Over 69.5, Williams Over 244.5 and Loveland Over 5.5 receptions.
Start with Smith-Njigba’s discount and bring some extra bankroll into Sunday’s late window. New players at MyBookie Sportsbook get a 100% REAL CASH bonus on a first deposit of $100 to $300 with promo code PREDICT100. That’s a FREE way to bet JSN Over 92.5 and the rest of your Week 9 NFL picks.
