For those not familiar with 30-year old pitcher Koehi Arihara, he has a 3-7 record and 5.49 ERA and 1.34 WHIP in the minors over two seasons. His Major League debut consisted of a 5.2 inning start in which he allowed a combined 11 hits and walks. There’s nothing that makes us think he won’t struggle again Sunday at Target Field against Joe Ryan and the Minnesota Twins. Garrett has looked absolutely unhittable at times this season (and knocked around when he’s not on) and May returns from a long layoff and will surely be on a short pitch count.
