The Golden State Warriors will face off with the Houston Rockets for Game
Two of the Western Conference Finals. The game will be coming live from
the Toyota Center on Wednesday, May 16th, 2018 at 9:00 PM ET. The contest
will be broadcasted to national audiences on TNT. As it was in Game One,
this match pits the two best teams in the NBA against each other. On the
season, the series was as competitive as it gets. The two teams had split
the last four meetings between each other. However, the Warriors would soar
over the Rockets in Game One. Kevin Durant and company would cruise past
James Harden and his cohorts when the Rockets were defeated by the Warriors
119-106 at home.
As was revealed in the tale of the tape, these two teams entered into the Western Conference Finals on the heels of dominant performances in both the Western Conference Semifinals and Western Conference Quarterfinals. Collectively, the two outfits had gone 16-3 over the span of the first two rounds.
There are a variety of viable betting trends that we are looking at here in Game Two. To begin, the Rockets remain a force at home as they are 39-9 SU in Houston. Golden State has improved to a commendable 32-14 SU on the road. In previous meetings between the two sides, Golden State is 7-4 ATS in the previous eleven meetings. Golden State knows how to navigate this playoff stretch as best as any team
or franchise. After all, they have won two of the last three NBA Finals
and been the bullies of the West for the last four years. With the Warriors
being chalk to win the title again this year, this outfit is always a viable
pick even if they are prone to being heavily overvalued as a result of this.

In spite of their triumph, the market is reluctant to sway or believe that anything will be different in Houston in Game Two. The Rockets still remain the favorite as they have been a juggernaut on their own court all season long. With this being said, the Rockets will seize the opportunity to show the NBA why they finished with the best record in the West and garnered as a chief rival to the defending champions.
