The Utah Jazz will venture off to the Houston Rockets for Game One of the Western Conference Semifinals. The game is set to tip-off at the Toyota Center on Sunday, April 29th, 2018 at 3:30 PM ET. Clutch City has dominated the series as a whole. The Rockets have won the last four meetings between both parties. In the last meeting between both teams in February, the Rockets defeated the Jazz by a score of 96-85. The two teams enter in off 4-1 and 4-2 defeats of their respective opponents in the first round of playoff action.
The Rockets defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference Quarterfinals when they won three of their four wins at home. It only took five games for Houston to dispatch the Wolves. The Jazz enters off an upset of the Oklahoma City Thunder where the Jazz was able to be rid of OKC in just six games. From a seeding perspective, the Rockets are the top seed in the West while the Jazz are the five seed.
