The Seattle Seahawks proved last weekend they are definitely capable of playing very average and non-superbowlistic. The defending superbowl champs lost at home! Say what? Yes, the Dallas Cowboys rode into town and upended the Hawks, 12th man and all. There are not too many teams who have visited CenturyLink Field and gone away winners but The Big D did just that and shocked the home crowd. What will Seattle do this week in St. Louis? If youre looking to put action on this game you may want to look for an injury prop bet. Both the Hawks and Rams are a bit beat up. Seattle is the superior team and should get back on track by giving the Rams their 4th straight loss.

Seattles defense allowed more yards rushing than they did in their first four games combined. The Rams may be the cellar dweller of the NFC West but they do have a pair of RBs who can run a little bit. With Seattle suffering key injuries both defensively and offensively it favors the Rams even though they are banged up too. However, St. Louis is at home and desperately seeking a Wthis might be their big chance to get one against the champs. The Rams boast a cast of newbies including rookie QB Austin Davis who will throw the ball down the field and has 7 TDs already this season. Davis also has 3 INTs which 2 have been returned for TDs. It might be a good time to go all out against the hampered Hawks this weekend.

The Hawks have won the last 3 contests between these two teams. If the Seahawks lose this game they will be the laughing stock of the league! Seriously, the Rams might be the worst team in the league especially at rushing the passer and on the other side of the pigskin they score early but then fall apart. St. Louis was outscored 66-19 in the second half of their first three games, squandering leads in two of those contests to Dallas and last Monday night they were up 14-0 on the Niners before they let that game get away too.

Seattle will be without three starters on Sunday in St. Louis: TE Zach Miller, C Max Unger, and MLB Bobby Wagner. How does this effect the Hawks? It will definitely cause a lot timing issues for the replacement guys. Who wouldve thought Seattle would be this position just in the 6th week of the season? The Hawks will be tested early both by the pass and the run. I think the Rams know they must come out quick and hard and set the pace on their terms, not Seattles terms. Most of the experts are expecting the Seahawks to rebound after their home loss to Dallas last week. They should be able to handle a team that is still searching for an identity. If the Rams lose it will bring their home record to 0-4.

Russell Wilson is too good to let his performance, which was less than his normal miraculous play, dictate the rest of his seasonI say Wilson and the rest of the Hawks get it together despite all the injuries and put the Rams deeper in the hole than they already are. Marshawn Lynch will also bring his beast mode and run over people hopefully as he enters the end zone! It should be perhaps entertaining for awhile but eventually the Hawks will prove they are superior and well, just a better ball club. Too much Wilson scrambling, Lynch mobbing, and the D holds down the Ram push to get a much needed W! Not too many people are leaning for the Rams, and for a good reason, they are not good enough to beat Seattle! Im taking the Seahawks minus the points. Luck to ya.
