Wednesday ends with a heck of a pitching matchup between hard throwing Michael Kopech of the Chicago White Sox and Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Angels. The Los Angeles Dodgers have dropped two games in a row and may tank tonight as Julio Urias doesn’t have a very good history at Coors Field. He’ll be opposed by Rockies starter German Marquez, who has a poor 6.70 ERA at home this season. Balls could be flyin’ all over the place in Colorado tonight!

An excellent pitcher’s duel takes place at Citi Field today as the Houston Astros will send future Hall of Famer Jason Verlander to the mound to face tough righty Taijuan Walker. The A’s have lost six of their last eight games in and those six losses, they’ve only scored ten runs, in which five of those came in one game! Throw that game out and the team is basically averaging one measly run per game! It won’t get any easier for them today, as they face tough right-hander Jameson Taillon. Wednesday’s MLB card has eight day games with the Brew Crew and TB Rays with a first pitch of Noon ET. Eric Lauer has been torched three straight times.
