The Notre Dame Fighting Irish come into the Camping World Bowl as slight -3.5 favorites vs. the Iowa State Cyclones. If you’re a fan of trends, you’ll likely be wagering on ND as Iowa State defense that ranks nationally 66th against the pass, 52nd and six of the Cyclones seven wins came against FCS Northern Iowa, 5-7 UL Monroe and the bottom four teams in the Big 12. ISU is just 5-25 in their last 30 games against ranked teams. It’s hard to fade numbers like those!
In a matchup with major divisional playoff implications, the 11-3 New England Patriots host the 10-4 Buffalo Bills for a Saturday afternoon showdown at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. The Patriots have dominated the series since 2001, going 33-3 in their last 36 meetings including a 16-2 mark at home.
Week 15 will show us what the Patriots are made of. After back to back losses and the end of their home winning streak, they get a creampuff road matchup vs. the Cincinnati Bengals, or is it? Bill Belichick is known for taking away the opponents best weapon. Cincinnati really only has one, so in theory, the Pats should be able to bang out a win here.
The Patriots look human! They pretty much got destroyed last week by the Titans. The final score wasn’t even close to indicative as the first 50 minutes of the game. Is Tom Brady turning grandpa right in front of our eyes? Is it possible that they lose two in a row and on their own turf? Hell yes!
This Week 13 point spread is a real head scratcher. The oddsmakers are way off on the Pats/Texans line and it’s as close to a lock as any game we’ve seen this season. The Texans love to chuck it and the Patriots have one of the most ridiculously talented secondaries we’e seen since Ed Reed and the Baltimore Ravens. The Texans run game is ineffective as well. Jump on this one quick before we see line movement that sucks out the value!
With 13 weeks of college football behind us, we have somewhat of an advantage in that we have lots of data to go off of to help us predict winners. In the case of Notre Dame vs. Stanford, one team is clearly playing for something and the other has folded up their tent and gone home. Stanford at 4-7 straight up and 3-8 against the spread simply isn’t getting it done. Look for ND to put their foot on the pedal here with hopes of being selected for the best possible bowl game.

New England’s offense may not be as dangerous as it has been in recent seasons but they are a big step up from the last two opponents Philadelphia has faced.
