Bowl Wagering Tip: Early bowl games have historically had a very high rate of underdogs covering the pre New Year’s Day games. Logically this would make sense with the point spread favorite being disappointed that they didn’t receive a more prestigious bowl invite and they come out very flat. That being said, the best sportsbook bar none for betting underdogs is Bovada as they tend to inflate their spreads a bit.
