Two traditional heavyweights of the English Premier League will square off this weekend in what will be a pivotal affair for both sides looking to catch some momentum. The Gunners of Arsenal by way of London will travel to the North West to meet with the Toffees of Everton who come by way of Liverpool in a clash of Premiership titans. Both teams have looked less than pristine in their most recent outings. Arsenal has climbed its way up the table despite floundering against the Hornets of Greater London, Watford in their most recent fixture. Arsenal is looking to get back in to Champions League play after missing the ball in the 2016-17 campaign. The Gunners are in the Europa League and boast winning the FA Cup last season. The Gunners have been regulars in winning the FA Cup but nevertheless enthusiasts are firm in the fact that Arsenal has bigger fish to fry. A slew of acquisitions to elevate the star power in Highbury has left many fans feeling disappointed with the overall performance portfolio of the Gunners.
As mentioned, Arsenal comes in off a stunning defeat when they were taken down by Watford in their most recent English Premier League exploit. These narratives are very alarming for the blue team from the Greater Liverpool Area. Nevertheless, Goodison Park is a place where many teams have gone and found themselves in a trap. Arsenal seems poised to be that team typically, but that event may be coming a week late.
Arsenal is known for let-downs when the lights are upon them, but right now their stock is through the floor after the Watford loss.
