AL Wild Card Pick: Rays vs. Athletics

AL Wild Card Pick: Rays vs. Athletics

These two squads played seven games this season with the Athletics holding the edge in wins 4-3. Tampa Bay starter Morton pitched extremely well in two starts versus Oakland throwing 13 1/3 frames allowing just one run. A’s starter Manaea didn’t face TB this season but he’s been excellent allowing two or fewer runs in all five starts this campaign. It sure looks like an UNDER play should be considered.

Iowa Hawkeyes at Michigan Wolverines Pick 10/5/19

Iowa Hawkeyes at Michigan Wolverines Pick 10/5/19

The Hawkeyes are undefeated, and they give the appearance of a team getting stronger each week. The Wolverines got back on track with a 52-0 slaughter of Rutgers after being embarrassed by the Badgers 35-14. Michigan can resurrect their season with a victory on Saturday but laying the -3.5 may not be prudent against a top level opponent.

Oklahoma Sooners at Kansas Jayhawks Prediction ATS

The Sooners have destroyed all four opponents this season outscoring the opposition 222-75 with an average margin of victory being 37 points. This week’s line has Oklahoma as a -34.5 point favorite with a total line of 67. Can Kansas stay within that spread? Get Dan’s betting analysis & prediction.

NL Wild Card: Brewers at Nationals Pick

NL Wild Card: Brewers at Nationals Pick

The Brew Crew took four of the six meeting this season including Woodruff’s lone start against the Nats. Scherzer pitched well in his only start versus Milwaukee allowing one earned run in six frames pitched in a ND before the Washington came up short. Are the Brewers worth a play at nice odds?

Chicago Cubs at St. Louis Cardinals Pick 9/28/19

Chicago Cubs at St. Louis Cardinals Pick 9/28/19

The Cubs put an end to a nine-game free fall with their victory last night over the Cards. They send out the Cole Hamels who has struggled with a shoulder injury as of late that has seen pitch past the 5th inning just once in his past five starts. Get Dan’s analysis and moneyline pick.

Atlanta Braves vs. New York Mets Pick 9/27/19

Atlanta Braves vs. New York Mets Pick 9/27/19

Dallas Keuchel has owned the Mets in two career starts with both coming this season. The Braves lefty picked up a win and a no decision, allowing zero runs in 13 innings pitched. The Mets Stroman has been solid in recent outings allowing just three runs in 18 innings over three games. Tough call from this vantage point, but our handicapper has a couple angles he’s banking on.

Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels Pick 9/26/19

Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels Pick 9/26/19

On paper the Astros have a big edge in the probable starters tonight with Wade Miley toeing the rubber for Houston based on his seasonal and Jose Barria getting the ball for the Angels. The biggest question mark is does either team care whether they win this game? Get Dan’ opinion and moneyline play.

Mississippi State Bulldogs at Auburn Tigers Pick 9/28/19

Mississippi State Bulldogs at Auburn Tigers Pick 9/28/19

Mississippi State has done well in SEC play as of late, going 4-1 ATS against SEC foes in its past five league games. Here’s the bad news: Only one of those four wins came outside of Starkville. Mississip-pi State has lost five of its past six against the spread when it’s gone on the road, and that’s a big problem going into the Jungle, where Auburn has been incredibly tough to defeat.

New York Yankees at Tampa Bay Rays Pick 9/25/19

New York Yankees at Tampa Bay Rays Pick 9/25/19

The Rays took the opener 2-1 for their fifth win in their last six games. It was also the sixth win over the past seven in this series by the home team.
