Race Analysis:Well, the Indy 500 used to be a good race? Before CART and the Indy Racing League virtually destroyed open wheel racing in 1994, the Indianapolis 500 is much like the NIT these days; a competition standing on the shoulders of ghosts! But the flag will drop and instead of Jackie Stewart, A.J. Foyt, Rick Mears, Mark Donahue, Emerson Fittipaldi, and Nigel Mansel bearing down on Turn 1, we will be privileged to witness the most aerodynamic Clown Taxi ever devised by man filled with NASCAR re-tread Juan Pablo Montoya, Head Clown Kurt Busch, ex-Bengal Carlos Munoz (???), Pole Dancer Ed Carpenter, My Daddy Got Me In the Race Graham Rahal; Marco Andretti; A.J. Foyt IV (and on and on), and the obligatory LADY>> Pippa Mann<< carrying her untarnished All-Time Career Racing Record of >>> 171 Starts and 1 Win (Firestone Indy Lights Series in 2010) and has not started a race in 2014!!! There are a few great Drivers at Indy this yearScott Dixon, Sebastien Bourdais, Oriol Servia, and Takumo Sato to name a few. But, the Indy 500 is much more about going around in circles and hanging on at insane speeds so the Thrill of watching these Nuts try and stick to the pavement while flirting with the Sandman will always be there and THAT is exactly what makes INDY a must-see event! Lets take a look at who might drink the Milk (???) in Victory Lane this year!

Pippy Longstockings, errrr, Pippa Mann is a No Chance advertising gimmick that could end up hurting someonefor a very long time; NO CHANCE!

Helio Castroneves is more concerned with his teeth whitening gel, Racing Ambassadorship, and the persona hes created for himselfhes an Also Ran. Front Row Ed Carpenter has 142 Starts in 10 years and 2 Wins with the last win being under caution in 2012 (the first was in 2003)Front Row Ed! Thanks for playing, leave the keys in the ignitionGood Night! Juan Pablo? Hes like the ex-wife that went Vegas and left the kids behind only to show up on Thursday5 years lateras if nothing happened! No thanks Juan! It wasnt that good when we were marriedChump! Montoya equals Take up Bowling or somethingNope! Tony Kanaan? Heres another Bathroom Mirror Guy like Helio living in a glass house. Put Kanaan in any other seat than Indy Cars, against any other competition other than Indy Car Drivers, and Kanaan is looking for another occupation. I know Kanaan won this thing last year. But I just cant see a man blessed with less talent winning this event againexcept of course Helio (03,09). Kanaan? NowayI got jipped outa a Mountain Dew Freeze at 7-Eleven and Im boycotting his Team! Rookie Martin Plowman has a chance >>> to be a Porn Star! My Lord! Cmon, I can hear it now, Plowman pulls up on Pippa Mann and takes a peek inside. Pippa shows Plowman a gap, and Plowman takes her on the inside!!! What a move by Plowman!!! Cmon, Ill be eating BBQ with a white shirt watching this!!!! PlowmanWhat an Actor which equals No-Shot!

Jacques Villaneuve probably has the most experience at Indy. Not saying Villaneuve is too old to win here but I believe Villaneuve last competed at Indy when Spiro Agnew was driving the Pace Car! Buddy Lazier is kinda like Larry Mizehes won but Im not going to ask for any lessons even if its free. Rookie Sage Karam was a little miffed at missing his High School Prom that his team is going to sponsor a mini-prom in Garage B2 so he can still have his memorieswhich says a lot about why young rookies dont win at Indy. Instead of making memories with a Missed Opportunity Forever impromptu Prom celebration, Karam should be focused and concentrating on not having his memory WIPED CLEAN slamming against the Turn 1 Wall during the race. KaramYou gotta be kidding?

Okay, so with the pretenders out of the way, lets get down to the main contenders for this years Indy 500! Will Power, James Hinchcliffe, J.R. Hildebrand, Simon Pagenaud, Ryan Hunter-Reay, and Scott Dixon look to be the strongest contenders in this Field with quite a bit of value for the buck! Of these five gentleman I have chosen, Hunter-Reay is probably out simply because I dont like being forced to say a hyphenated last name. From now on, Ryan Hunter-Reays name is RHRbodda boom! 2011 saw Hildebrand make the extreme error of smacking the FINAL TURN 4 WALL in 2011 while leading the Indy 500! INCREDIBLEbut I still love Hildebrand. I think Hildebrand has a great shot as a 40-1 choice. RHR is 11-1 and My Boy Scott Dixon is bouncing around at 11-1. Pagenaud is 16-1 and Sato is bumping the thermometer at a cool 40-1. Helio and Marco Andretti are the Favorites at 13/2 and Will Power—who seems to dominate this division lately—is 8-1. Of them all, I like Hinchcliffe at 9-1 followed closely by Scott Dixon at 11-1, and Ill reach out for a Long shot Oriol Servia at 75-1! Anything can happen in this raceANYTHING!!!! Put your cabbage on a few I believe are hungry enough to win, and have the talent to win, and I believe youll have a spectacular Memorial Dayeven if you did miss your High School Prom (Karam —- 150-1 oddsI wonder why?). CIAO BELLA!

My Pick to Win the Indianapolis 500:Scott Dixon11-1. Bet this race using the free loot you’ll receive when you get a giant 100% bonus on your first deposit of $100 to $500 at GTBets!
