The Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts will meet once again in what will be a pivotal AFC South clash for both franchises. This time, the Titans will curate the hosting duties in Music City. As a whole, the Colts have had their way in this divisional series as they have won eleven in a row against the Titans. Overall, Indianapolis has dominated recent fixtures between both parties. The most recent clash between the two resulted in a 24-17 Indianapolis victory in November of 2016. The time of kick off is set for 8:30 PM ET live from the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. The contest will be one that all of America will bear witness to, as it will be televised on ESPNs Monday Night Football.

The Colts come in off a win they have to be pleased with. Against the winless San Francisco 49ers, overtime was required to declare a victor but that victor was the Indianapolis Colts. Indy would edge out the Niners in a 27-24 thriller at Lucas Oil Stadium, last Sunday. The Colts did so without the services of franchise quarterback Andrew Luck which is something that has been a huge problem for Indianapolis. The injury to Luck has hindered the outlook for this team and has more or less swung the door wide open for the AFC South. We have said it before and we will say it again, the conference is a bit of a spiders lair. Even when all teams are performing at full strength, the question of depth of quality comes to the forefront. This season with the way things are shaping up, this inquiry will certainly be made again. The Colts were able to also generate the first at the spread loss for the 49ers, this year.

The Titans have a tremendous amount of skill in their personnel. First, evolving quarterback Marcus Mariota who gets better each week and is a true playmaker. He has been since his Heismanesque credentials bolstered him national recognition at the University Oregon. Marcus is complemented by some talented players in the skill position departments in running back DeMarco Murray, rusher Derrick Henry, and tight end Delanie Walker. Tennessees defense was a popular choice of scrutiny in 2016 as they look to replicate the success they achieved in generating sacks and overall rushing defense. However, the Titans have hit a nasty skid after starting off 2-1. The Titans have lost their last two contests and were hung for 57 points two weeks ago when the Houston Texans came to town and incinerated the Titans for nearly 500 yards of total offense.

As a whole this market is one that has been so far of little public appeal. For a Monday night market, a contest of two irrelevant teams is something that will not garner a lot of attention. From what we can ascertain in the early going, its the notion that many expect this game to be a potential rebound situation for the boys from the Music City. With the Colts once expected to be without the services of Andrew Luck, there is little upset in backing the Colts here. After all, Tennessee is a quality team that qualified for the playoffs in 2016. They are not a team that is in transition like San Francisco or down on their luck like Cleveland. These are the two wins on the Colts schedule in 2017.

If there was a situation that creates equity and value on Tennessee it would be the current juncture. Tennessee has failed to cover in their last two contests and they are going against a football team that has in three of its last four outings. Lets also recall that historical anecdotes will create a perception here by default. What this does is allow takers to get Tennessee at a friendlier number that is far lower than it normally would be expected to be. Considering Tennessee also gets this one at home against an Indianapolis team that is in all kinds of disarray, we like our chances for the Titans to roll to a titanic victory. Thus, the Titans get the call here in this critical AFC fixture.
