The Seahawks are finally back home after a long road trip where they lost more than they won. However, they did manage to beat the one-win Rams last Sunday 27-17, now they return to Qwest Field for the first time in nearly a month where they beat the Lions 32-20 on November 8 in a come from behind win.

San Francisco is coming off of a 20-3 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday. The 49ers are averaging 20.7 points per game with 184 yards in passing and 94 on the ground. They have won just two out of their last five games. Defensively, they allow 19.4 points per contest to their opponents. San Fran gives up 351 yards of total offense each outing with 256 in the air and 94 in rushing yards.

Seattle is scoring 20.3 points per outing with 227 yards passing and 92 on the run. The Seahawks are allowing 22.7 ppg. They give up 348 yards of total offense to their opponents by allowing 238 yards passing and 110 on the ground. Seattle has also won two out of their last five matchups and they hope to open the month of December on a positive note at home.

San Francisco beat Seattle on September 20 of this season 23-10 in San Francisco, so you can bet that the Hawks will be looking for revenge on that loss. Seattle is 9-6 against the 49ers going back to the 2002 season and at one point they beat them six times in a row.

The 49ers are 1-4 SU, 4-0-1 ATS, and 3-2 O/U on the road this season. They are also 1-4 SU, 4-0-1 ATS, and 3-2 O/U as the underdog this year.

The Seahawks are 3-2 SU, 3-2 ATS, and 2-3 O/U at Qwest Field this season. As the favorite, the Hawks are 4-0 SU, 4-0 ATS, and 2-2 O/U.

The line on this game opened at Seattle -2 with a total of 41. Most online casinos and sportsbooks have this matchup as a pick but some are showing Seattle -1. The Las Vegas Hilton, the Hard Rock, and Planet Hollywood have this game as a pick as well but the Mirage is offering the Hawks at -1. The offshore casinos are showing the total from 41 to 41.5.

San Francisco is 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games in week 13. The 49ers are also 5-1-2 ATS in their last 8 games versus the NFC. The Seahawks are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games in the month of December.

Matt Hasselbeck has a QB rating of 81 while Alex Smith has a rating of 84.7. Both QBs have thrown 11 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. Smith has a completion rate of 62 percent while Hasselbeck is at 59 percent. I like Hasselbeck at home even though sometimes he gets a slow start. The Seahawks need this win to keep any kind of momentum going into the final leg of their schedule.

This game will be a battle as both squads have struggled this season with consistency. The Hawks have a slight edge on their own field but thats about it. Seattle will definitely need the 12th man in this game as San Fran will bring every trick in the bag to steal a win on the road.

Wilsons Pick: Seattle 24, San Francisco 21. Luck to ya.
