Fight Analysis:UFC 168 is packed with awesome talent and also, a few curiously prescribed matchups making this event a Must See for all fight fans! The Main Event is Silva vs Weidman which most fans are salivating for. The best possible scenario for UFC followers was watching Anderson Silva get tattooed by Weidman in their first fight! This time around, Silva appears to be locked into serious mode and Weidman is fallowing Silvas lead. The only downside to UFC 168 (as I see it), is the co-Main Event cat fight between Ronda Rousey vs Miesha Tate. Im not certain what it is about this particular matchup that bothers me, but generally speaking; witnessing two women Get After It makes my stomach turn a little?! Perhaps you enjoy itI do not know? As for me: Uriah Hall vs Chris Leben is an extremely interesting bout, Diego Brandao versus Dustin Poirier might end up being the best bout of the night, and Dennis Siver vs Manny Gamburyan is expected to be an incredibly active and punishing brawl. Lets take a look at a few of the noteworthy bouts for UFC 168!!

Lets take a second and contemplate Shane del Rosario and his battle to live. Rosario had a massive heart attack and was given up for dead after no brain activity was discovered and Rosario was on full life support. A few days later, Rosario is breathing on his own, has brain activity, and reportedly squeezed his Mothers hand although he hasnt regained consciousness to date. Del Rosario, we will say a prayer for you and your family for a speedy and complete recovery! On to UFC 168!

UFC 168s Main Event of the evening promises to be something special in the land of Chips and Comps (Vegas). Yes, Anderson Silva got a little too cutesy in the ring fighting Weidman in UFC 162 and got corn-holed right in the chops by Weidman. Now, the stage is set for possibly the best rematch since Anderson Silva versus Rich Franklin II and/or Lesner vs Frank Mir II.

Chris Weidman(10-0-0)(+120) vs.Anderson Silva(33-5-0)(-150)
Silva did get KOed by Weidman in UFC 162. But Siva also got completely dominated by Weidman throughout the 1stround and into the eventual KO in the second round with around 3:40 to go! Silva put on a Show in the Weidman fight. Unfortunately, Silva was playing the part of The Clown with Glass Jaw while Weidman watched Silva dissolve into himself. Silvas self-serving antics may play well along the alley-ways of Sao Paulo, but facing men, Silva exposed himself as the pound-for-pound child actor in UFC. In fact, Silva and his unflattering rendition of the Demian Maia UFC 112 fight was a puke performance from the sideshow that is Anderson Silva. Silva described his humiliation after the Maiadisgraceas a personal redemption/vengeance for Maia supposedly disrespecting Silva as a fighter. On the contrary, Silva disrespected himself and each and every honorable fighter who has ever stepped into the Octagon by attempting to humiliate Weidman—as Silva did to Maia—except this time, Silva suggested his Clown antics was a strategy instead of vengeance. Silva, sitting in the post fight press room with suit, tie, and canary yellow Nike hat, proved by his own words and actions to be misleading and disingenuous which is at the heart and soul of why Silva lost—and will lose again—to Chris Weidman. Silva doesnt possess the faintest idea of who he is and how to conduct himself as the personor personahe is not; a true Champion.Weidmanis a gentleman and the Tempest just left the teapot; the Mighty Casey has struck out! Silva is good on his feet, doesnt punch very well, let Weidman easily take him down to the ground, and has a jaw made of papier mache. Anderson Silva lost much more than the title and Brazils adoration against Weidman. Silva lost the aura and fear surrounding him since his very first title defense and the necessary components to remain anything other than a one-trick-pony. Weidman againprobably by submission! Clowns are only funny when 28 of them pile out the backseat of a checkered cab; not when they step into the Octagon!

My Prediction to Win:Chris Weidman+120. Weidman was smart in the first fight and self controlled. Silva will want to put Weidman away early dispelling any ideas the first fight reflected a reality. The first fight between these two DID reflect a reality and Silva is doomed!

Chris Leben(22-10-0)(-220) vs.Uriah Hall(8-4-0)(+180)
Here aretwo fighters; one heading north, and one heading south. Chris Leben was winning belts before Anderson Silva polished is Standup routine. Leben has to be thinking this is his last rodeo and hes spent his money well by maintaining a gym in Hawaii. Hall has probably had more YouTube hits than anyone in—at least—the last 5 years with his amazing KOs on FXs TUF house series. Unfortunately, Hall failed to close the deal a few times and ended up losing in the TUF finals dropping a little respect from UFC/MMA aficionados. With that being said, Hall was preached, propped up, and promoted like crazy as the Next Great MMA Gladiator only to see that particular marketing campaign belly flop at the hands ofyou guessed it!!…Chris Weidman in 2010. Hall has all the physical tools to be incredibly successful in MMA competition along with a gentlemanly approach and genuine demeanor towards opponents outside of the ring that often times is lost in this selfish civilization we live in today. Hall has also lost to Costa Philippou who is a Baller in the MMA game and if Hall brings the passion, desire, and focus to the Octagon December 28th, Leben will probably be beaten into retirement.

My Pick to Win:Uriah Hall +180. Hall is younger, quicker, and hungrier than Leben. Leben looks old in the ringhe looks like a club boxer fighting for potatoes during the Great Depression!

Ronda Rousey(7-0-0)(-1000) vs.Miesha Tate(13-4-0)(+600)
This fight seems to be an extension-promotion TUF show where each plays the part of rival coaches with axes to grind. Rousey and Tate have fought before with the most recentummmencounter resulting a total domination by the vastly more imposing Ronda Rousey. Rousey arm barred Tate (an accomplished wrestler) but Rousey could have easily slapped Tate around with a Whats my name! Muhammad Ali beat-down. Lets face it, UFC seems to be reaching out to a little over half the population (women) by promoting female MMA. In female MMA (thus far), a tweak or punch in a tender section can flip a fight just like that! I believe both fighters are tough enough to stand on their own merits in the Octagon, but Rouseys temperament combined with her volatile personality suggest she may be susceptible to making mistakes. If that mistake happens, Tate will capitalize and put Rousey where Tate was in their Strikeforce encounter.

My Pick to Win:Miesha Tate +600. Tate wins from Rouseys mistake bolstering TUF numbers and promoting these two challengers as a Must See rivalryhowever realistic that proposal is?!
