College Basketball Picks
Santa Clara Broncos at Gonzaga Bulldogs Pick 1/16/20
What is Herb Sendek feeding his kids? The Santa Clara Broncos have been the perennial doormat of the West Coast Conference but not this year. This young team is playing like their hair is on fire and doing so without a true star, as seven different players average 7+ points or more. Will the Mark Few have the Gonzaga Bulldogs on upset alert? Or will the Broncos go into a tough venue and turn heads as they did last time out at St. Mary’s? Check out Dan’s picks on this game as he has a recommendation for both the side and total!
Virginia Cavaliers at Florida State Seminoles Pick 1/15/20
When you think Virginia Cavaliers you probably think “winner”. While they’ve been incredible in the past, and while they’re sporting an 11-4 record this season, they’ve been somewhat of a disappointment, not living up to expectations, especially at the betting window where they’ve only cashed tickets four out of fifteen games. Meanwhile, the FSU Seminoles have won seven games in a row under Leonard Hamilton and are making a solid case for being this year’s cinderella.
Duke Blue Devils at Clemson Tigers Prediction 1/14/20
It may be a quiet crowd at LittleJohn Coliseum in South Carolina tonight after last night’s CFP loss. That should help the Blue Devils, but the motivation may be lacking with Cardinals on deck. Read on to get our NCAA basketball prognosticator’s projected point spread winner.
CBB Picks: Arizona Wildcats at Oregon State Beavers
Oregon State hosts Pac-12 rival Arizona in Sunday night NCAA basketball action. The Wildcats were victorious in their last visits, but they were close with Arizona winning by two in the most recent and going to overtime in the other before pulling away to win by ten.
USC Trojans vs. UCLA Bruins Pick 1/11/20
You’d have to think that a lack of motivation wouldn’t be possible for USC after their dismal outing against Washington in their latest and revenge after dropping the last meeting against UCLA in overtime last season. Read o to get our capper’s suggested wager.
Baylor Bears vs. Kansas Jayhawks Pick 1/11/20
With the Kansas Jayhawks suffocating the permiter, allowing 21% or less to opponents from beyond the arc in their last three home games and the likelihood of allowing only 30-something percent from the field on two point baskets, it’s tough to envision a Baylor Bears team, who have been wining ugly, to come into Allen Fieldhouse to get a win.
Maryland Terrapins vs. Iowa Hawkeyes Pick 1/10/20
The Hawkeyes are at home but are coming ice cold after losing back to back on the road including a six-point loss as an -8 favorite in Nebraska. The Terps after dropping four consecutive games against the spread looked good in their last two.
Arizona Wildcats at Oregon Ducks Pick 1/9/20
Payton Pritchard is heating up and that spells bad news for a talented, but young Arizona Wildcats team. The low point spread of -3 screams out that bookmakers think AZ has a serious shot to win this game straight up. See why Dan thinks the U of O covers and wins their fourth straight contest vs. Sean Miller’s crew.
Memphis Tigers vs. Wichita State Shockers Pick 1/9/20
Memphis took both games last season so we expect that Wichita State will be looking to get some payback tonight at home. The oddsmaker has them at a reasonable -4.5 with a total line of 140.5. Read on to get Dan’s college basketball pick.
Duke Blue Devils vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Pick 1/8/20
Duke will put their seven-game winning streak on the line when they visit Georgia Tech in Wednesday NCAA basketball action. CBB handicapper Dan Jamison breaks it down and gives out his prediction against the spread.
