The St. Mary’s Gaels are up against it in Vegas Tuesday night. They’ve given valiant efforts in beating Pepperdine in double overtime and BYU by a point, however, they have no insider presence, and this is going to be the difference-maker against a Zags team that has dominated them in four of the last five meetings. Not even the brilliance of Randy Bennett and offensive prowess of Jordan Ford will prevent Gonzaga from cutting the nets down tonight!

Dating back to last season the last three meetings between these two clubs were decided by five or fewer points making a point spread call on this game a difficult call. I’d take the points if you twisted my arm, but I think the best play in this game is on the total.

The WCC Semi-Final match between San Francisco and Gonzaga will be the third meeting this between the clubs. Zaga took both earlier matches, winning at home by 17 and on the road by 4.
