The arrow for South Florida is pointing up as they hired former Clemson offensive coordinator Jeff Scott as their head coach, but they’ve got issues as projected starting QB Eddie McDoom opted out for the season and top WR Mitchell Wilcox graduated. The Turnpike Classic takes place between the Tulsa Golden Hurricane and Oklahoma State Cowboys in Stillwater Saturday and presents us with somewhat of a confusing point spread where OSU is only favored by -22.5. In the Mike Gundy era, Oklahoma St. is 4-0 against Tulsa and the average margin of victory has been 29 points. Furthermore, Tulsa has lost 21 straight contests in this venue. The Miami Hurricanes vs. Louisville Cardinals game may be the best matchup we’ll see in Week 3 college football (from a competitive standpoint). The Canes defense looked tenacious last week.
