Anthony Joshua vs. Kubrat Pulev – Joshua (19-0, 19 KOs)(-3000 betting odds) comes into this one as a HUGE favorite against Kubrat Pulev (25-1, 13 KOs)(+1500) in a fight that will play in Wales and will be televised on Showtime. The big odds may very well be justified, as all 19 of Joshua’s wins have come from stoppage. – 10/28

Crazy! I read somewhere today that as of 8/12/17, the MGM Sportsbook in Las Vegas has booked 27 bets per ONE Mayweather bet. In other book related news, it was reported that somebody placed a massive $880,000 bet on Mayweather. (It was probably another book laying off their action! lol)

Gennady Golovkin vs. Saul Alvarez Pick – The GGG vs. Canelo bout has everything you’d ever want in a fight. To make things even better, the fight is projected to be even, with both boxers having a legit shot to win the title as evidenced by Golovkin’s -170 and Alvarez’s +150 betting odds. – 9/16

Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor Pick – MMA fighter Conor McGregor switches over to boxing giving us one of the most anticipated brawls in recent years as a matchup of this caliber between a boxer and mixed martial artist is unprecedented. Vegas oddsmakers have Mayweather as a heavy favorite at -500, which means that you would need to risk $5 per $1 that you’re trying to profit. Conversely, if you’re to wager on McGregor, your $1 bet would profit you (+350) $3.50. The hoo-ha for this fight will be enormous!

Andre Ward vs. Sergey Kovalev Pick – One of the better fights in recent memory takes place at The Mandalay Bay on June 14th as Andre Ward (31-0, 15 KOs) and Sergey Kovalev (30-1-1, 26 KOs) go at it for the WBC Light Heavyweight Title. – 6/14

Saul Canelo Alvarez vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Pick – Vegas will be rockin’ Cinco de Mayo weekend as two of Mexico’s best go at it in a 164.5 catch-weight fight as Saul Canelo Alvarez (48-1-1, 24 KOs) comes in as a GIANT -900 favorite against Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. (50-2-1, 32 KOs). – 5/6

Don’t count the old man out here! He’s a live underdog! – 4/29

Keith Thurman vs. Danny Garcia Pick – A pair of undefeated warriors go at it at the Barclays Center Saturday night where Thurman is favored at -255 and Garcia is a live underdog. – 3/4

Manny Pacquiao vs. Jessie Vargas Pick – Pac Man comes out of a short retirement to face a formidable opponent in Jessie Vargas in this 12 round WBO fight. Expect no surprises here. – 11/5

Saul Alvarez vs. Liam Smith Pick – Canelo drops back down into the light middleweight division after fighting as a middleweight. Lots of variables in play here that make this look like a really one-sided bout including the bout being held on Mexican Independence Day in Las Vegas, which will have the crowd squarely on his side. Laying $1200 to profit $100 would be ludicrous, so Scott gives his opinion on the over/under here. – 9/17

Leo Santa Cruz vs. Carl Frampton Pick – A pair of little guys get it on at the Barclays Center and something has to give here as both are undefeated (Leo: 32-0-1, 18 KOs — Carl: (22-0, 14 KOs). Oddsmakers expect a good fight as betting odds show Santa Cruz at a small favorite at -160 with Carl Frampton as a short +130 underdog. – 7/30

Saul “Canelo” Alvarez vs. Amir Khan Prediction to Win – Canelo comes into this bout as a giant -440 favorite looking to defend his WBC middleweight title in a fight that pits two winning fighters who have a combined 4 losses in 82 fights. The smaller Khan is very talented and is a great offensive fighter, but one has to wonder about his ability to take a punch, especially in a heavier weight class against the experienced Mexican star. – 5/7
