he other day game on Friday’s card takes place in Canada where the Tampa Bay Rans and Corey Kluber take on the Toronto Blue Jays and Jose Berrios. Kluber has been pitching well as of late and Berrios has gotten bombed, however, he does pitch much better at the Rogers Centre where he has a 3.18 ERA this season. Get our TB/Tor pick here!

Friday MLB action kicks off with a day game between the Boston Red Sox and Chicago Cubs. The BoSox have been pretty steady as of late and can be counted on for five to six runs. Thursday’s MLB card closes out with a battle in SoCal between the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers. Joe Musgrove takes the ball for the Pads. He’ll be opposed by MItch White. Musgrove has been a cool customer on the road this season with a 1.67 ERA. The Padres have lost three of their last four ballgames and the Dodgers have lost three of their last five. It’s tough to fathom the Minnesota Twins being up for Thursday’s game vs. the Guardians after blowing a three-run lead in extra innings, only to allow four in the bottom of the inning on an opposite field home runs by Josh Naylor. Wednesday ends with a heck of a pitching matchup between hard throwing Michael Kopech of the Chicago White Sox and Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Angels. The Los Angeles Dodgers have dropped two games in a row and may tank tonight as Julio Urias doesn’t have a very good history at Coors Field. He’ll be opposed by Rockies starter German Marquez, who has a poor 6.70 ERA at home this season. Balls could be flyin’ all over the place in Colorado tonight!

An excellent pitcher’s duel takes place at Citi Field today as the Houston Astros will send future Hall of Famer Jason Verlander to the mound to face tough righty Taijuan Walker. The Mets starter has a low 2.49 ERA at home, making him a formidable opponent for Houston. Get our Hou/NYM pick to win here!

The A’s have lost six of their last eight games in and those six losses, they’ve only scored ten runs, in which five of those came in one game! Throw that game out and the team is basically averaging one measly run per game! It won’t get any easier for them today, as they face tough right-hander Jameson Taillon.
