If you watch a lot of Ravens games you’ll often times hear announcers refer to their offensive line as “Road Graders”. It’s very difficult to lose in the NFL when you have all day to throw, gaping holes to run through and a tight end built like Gronk on steroids. While laying -7 on the road in the NFL is a scary proposition, it might be like taking candy from a baby in vs. the Texans this week.

The Week Two NFL matchup between the NYG and Chicago Bears is tougher than it looks. The G-Men will be on a short week and while the Bears won last week at Detroit, keep in mind they were down BIG in the fourth quarter. The comeback was nice, but doesn’t signify being good. It’s not very often that the “square take” is a winning proposition in NFL football betting, but this week provides us with an exception to the rule. The New York Jets looked like hot garbage last weekend vs. a good Bills team. The Niners didn’t look very good either, but we’re chalking that up to an enigma as they’re not as bad as they played and the Cardinals aren’t as good as they performed. This is a smash spot for the Niners!

Two teams meet up in Week 2 that we thought we’d see more out of last week. The Atlanta Falcons got leveled on their home turf vs. a high-flying Seahawks team and the Cowboys never really got it going vs. the Rams. We expect a better effort out of both, but who will cover? Get Jay’s bet here!

Week 1 Monday Night Football presents us with a really tough betting matchup. The Titans vs. Broncos game leaves too many questionable variables to bet any serious money on. Loot does the best job he can to give you a breakdown of how he thinks the game will play out.

Big Ben returns to the field after an injury riddled season. Daniel Jones starts the season after getting some experience under his belt as a rookie. There are lots of question marks regarding this contest, especially with no preseason to assess. Some games are tougher to handicap than others. This is one of them! Week 1 kicks off with Thursday Night Football when the Houston Texans visit Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs. KC is laying a HUGE number here, which is questionable at best with no preseason and potential timing issues. It’s always best to sit back and watch for a couple weeks before risking your hard earned money. All Week One action should be limited to lunch money bets!

Timing is so important when it comes to an NFL offene.
